Sales to Chinese Consumers Support the Salt Lake City Community
PMD Beauty has long been trying to crack the China market from the other side of the world. They partnered with Alibaba’s Tmall to develop an online flagship store and build a brand with over one billion consumers in this market. Since partnering with Alibaba, PMD has reported month-over-month growth.
“When looking at China, there are a lot of different options to enter the market. And there are a lot of ecommerce players out there. We felt like Alibaba’s Tmall is not just the largest, but the best,” said Sam Alexander, PMD Beauty’s CEO.
The brand’s overseas success is helping the business grow, benefiting the local community.
