Alibaba Announces 2021 Sales Figure For U.S. Businesses

Alibaba recently announced that in 2021, U.S. companies sold more than $61 billion worth of goods to Chinese consumers through its ecommerce platforms.

In 2021, Alibaba continued to help thousands of U.S. businesses, large and small, access over 900 million consumers in China by offering them a robust ecommerce infrastructure with innovative tools and digital solutions.   • Last November, Alibaba held its 13th annual 11.11 Global Shopping Festival, and U.S. businesses made $6.4 billion in sales during the two-week festival.
  • Alibaba held a Summit to educate North American brands on how they can work with Alibaba to reach and engage Chinese consumers.
  • Alibaba created a global products expo titled “Made in the USA” to help American companies sell locally made products overseas. Over 15,000 American products were showcased throughout the expo.
